Master Classes
TrEAD is now available for performance master classes in primary and secondary schools nationwide.
Graham and Helen have both recently worked with children in several schools in the UK. TrEAD can cater for a day's workshop in a school to suit individual needs. For example; Personal and Social Health Education Issues, Confidence Building, Musical Theatre, Acting for Stage, Acting for Camera etc.
TrEAD recently visited Oakridge Primary School in Stafford working with the children and staff on their end of year production of GREASE. Here is what the staff and pupils had to say about the day:
Helen and Graham led a fantastic workshop for our Year 6 pupils. The children were putting on a performance of Grease and they helped them develop acting, singing and dancing skills. The day was amazing. Helen and Graham not only had an excellent knowledge of the musical and how the children could best bring it to life, they also had a great rapport with the children which helped them gain confidence and really show what they could do on stage. It was a day to remember! " Miss Beth Homer - Year 6 Teacher
This is what the children thought!
"It was really good. Everyone was included. The games helped us concentrate which has helped us when we are rehearsing. It helped us be there on time when we are performing our part. I really liked the hot seating because it helped you become your character" Josh, aged 11
"It was good because it helped you know how to put in lots of energy. The games helped us do the acting well when we actually put the production on. It was great to see real actors and this helped influence us and gave us something to look up to and work towards" Harry, age 11"Helen and Graham gave us lots more confidence. They helped us speak out loud and helped us make the performance the best it could be" Bradley, age 11
